The International Surface Event 2025

The International Surface Event (TISE) in Las Vegas is always a highlight for the flooring industry, bringing together top brands, designers, and innovators. This year’s show was no exception, showcasing the latest trends in hard surfaces, carpets, and installation techniques. From cutting-edge materials to inspiring displays, TISE continues to set the standard for what’s next in flooring design.

Stanton made a huge impact at the show with its bold rebrand from Stanton Carpet to Stanton Design, signaling a broader vision beyond carpets. Their new identity was reflected in their stunning booth featuring new displays, where they showcased a diverse range of flooring options in a fresh, modern format. By embracing hard surfaces alongside their well-known luxury carpets, Stanton demonstrated a commitment to versatility and innovation, setting the stage for an expanded presence in the industry.

One of the standout trends this year was the use of gallery-style displays. Many exhibitors moved away from cluttered booths in favor of a more curated, high-end presentation. Large-format flooring samples—both hard surfaces and carpets—were beautifully lit and accompanied by small, museum-like tags providing details. This approach not only elevated the visual appeal but also allowed visitors to fully appreciate the textures, colors, and craftsmanship of each product.

Curves also made a bold statement on the show floor. Instead of rigid, rectangular displays, many booths featured sweeping, organic shapes that felt more dynamic. From rounded archways to circular sample layouts, these designs added a modern, fluid aesthetic to the traditional trade show setup. The shift toward curves reflects a broader movement in interior design, where softer lines and flowing forms are gaining popularity in both residential and commercial spaces.

Another key design direction was the seamless integration of carpet and hard flooring within displays. Instead of viewing these materials in isolation, brands showcased them together to mimic real home environments. This trend helps homeowners and designers visualize how different flooring types can transition smoothly, creating warm, cohesive interiors that blend comfort and durability.

The International Surface Event 2025 was an inspiring showcase of where the flooring industry is headed, and we can't wait to see what’s in store next year.
