We walked away from The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025 with a new excitement for the future of technology. Join us as we explore some of the main highlights of CES!
From lawn-mowing robots to personal assistant smart watches, AI dominated the convention floor yet again. More than ever before, we saw a huge push to bring AI into the homes of everyday consumers.
Samsung wowed us with their expansion of SmartThings, Samsung’s smart appliance suite. While SmartThings has historically been limited to the home, Samsung used CES 2025 to give a glimpse into what the future holds. One of the more notable expansions is to marine vessels, including remote control boats. Besides sea technology, SmartThings Pro was introduced as Samsung’s AI B2B platform. With it, businesses can expect to use SmartThings to optimize energy use, streamline retail environments, improve employee identification, and automatically adjust meeting spaces.
Our team was also impressed with the LG AI Home, short for Affectionate Intelligence Home. LG has effectively curated a diverse smart appliance ecosystem in which the LG AI hub can help consumers maximize its efficiency. If that was not impressive enough, LG has utilized contextual understanding to target their AI Home to family care. This can look like automatically warming a room temperature to combat a child’s nighttime cough or even automatically vacuuming a space after a pet has been in it. LG’s goal is to minimize labor in the home so that families can focus on connecting with each other.
When exploring CES 2025, it felt impossible to miss TCL’s large booth and their even larger TVs. Our team was thrilled to experience TCL’s 115” QM7K TV that has revolutionary QD-Mini LED technology. It is an unprecedented mid-range TV with pixel-perfect quality. We are all for quality products without the premium price tag and TCL is reliable for doing just that.
